It is expected that Miami Dolphins will increase a quarterback in the NFL draft of 2024, but they are expected to remain as their "next guy" with Scaller Thomson at this position -   The seventh round selection of the 2022 NFL Draft appeared in four games for dolphins last season. He completed 68.2 % 454 yards, a touchdown, and an intervention. Dolphins general manager Chris Gear said Thomson has "all tools" to become NFL's successful quarterback. He also said that in 2023 the dolphin "is very excited to see what he can do". However, Dolphin also knows that Thomson is a deceased and needs to be developed. How the Cowboys Got Better in 6 Days

The Dallas Cowboys looked like a completely different team in their preseason matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders compared to their previous game against the Los Angeles Rams. It had only been six days, but the improvement was undeniable.

A key factor was the acquisition of veteran defensive tackle Jordan Phillips. Traded for a mere sixth-round pick, Phillips made an immediate impact, playing key snaps in his Cowboys debut. His presence bolstered the defensive line and disrupted the Raiders' offensive rhythm.

Aside from the addition of Phillips, the entire team looked better. The offensive and defensive lines exhibited better coordination, allowing players to make more impactful plays. The Cowboys' young quarterback, Trey Lance, looked more comfortable in the pocket, making decisive throws and showing better pocket presence.

While preseason games are often dismissed as meaningless, the rapid development and consistency shown by the Cowboys are encouraging signs for the upcoming season. If they can keep up this upward momentum, Dallas could be a formidable force in the NFC.

The Cowboys' ability to quickly integrate new players and improve the team's overall performance in such a short period of time is a testament to the dedication of the coaching staff and players. As the regular season approaches, fans have reason to be optimistic about this year's team.
